The Forest & Forest Employment Skills Company (FAFPESC)
is the national industry training body for the Forest & Furnishing Products Industry responsible for the facilitation of improving vocational education, training and skills development.

FAFPESC is a bipartite organisation with equal representation of the CFMEU and major industry employers.

FAFPESC was established in 1989 (formerly known as the National Forest Industries Training Council, NFITC) as is one of the few national training body's that is a stand-alone-industry training body, which means FAFPESC only represents the Forest & Forest Products Industry.

Since the establishment of FAFPESC through the support of the CFMEU, significant vocational education and training reform has taken place as part of workplace reform and restructuring within the industry.

FAFPESC provides advice and information to industry and government on:
education, training and skills formation needs
resourcing requirements and priorities in respect to training
